Where is the best secret base in Pokemon emerald?

This is a bit difficult to answer because people have different opinions on what equals "best"

You have to look around and try out different places to decide for yourself.

Places to look:

Trees;

Some trees can be made into a secret base,

And they have two different sides so they

may be different from each other.

Bushes;

I think the game called them piles of leaves but you get the picture, and alike trees, they can sometimes have two different secret bases in them.

Most of the bushes are around the fortree area.

Caves;

There are in my mind, three kinds of caves;

One with rock ground, lighter coloured rock ground(I think, I dont actually remember if this one for sure) and one with sandy

ground.

(personally I like the sandy ground ones)

The rock ground ones are most common, and found in more obvious places

The lighter ground ones are probably around meteor falls.

And some sandy ones are in the desert along with regular rock ones, and sometimes sandy ones will be on an island area. (Mine is on an island south of Mossdeep island)

Some secret bases are only partly accessible,

Some will have holes in the ground blocking tunnels. You can get "strong boards" to cover them from the "Lillycove department store clear out sale!" it happens randomly, you will see a tv flashing in a house and it will say how many days before the sale happens.

But lik I said, it's at random. And it could also advertise "The berry master" or "The game corner"
