Yes, a 1995 Talon TSI AWD motor can be swapped into a 1998 Eclipse ESI, but it requires significant modifications. The Talon’s turbocharged 4G63 engine is compatible with the Eclipse platform, but you'll need to address differences in wiring harnesses, engine mounts, and the drivetrain. Additionally, ensure that the ESI's transmission can handle the power and consider upgrading other components for better performance and reliability.

On a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse Talon ESI, the clutch start switch is typically located near the clutch pedal assembly. It is a small switch that activates when the clutch pedal is fully depressed, allowing the engine to start. If you’re having trouble locating it, refer to the vehicle's service manual for a detailed diagram or instructions on its exact position.
For 95-99 Yes, depending on the model of car. A talon ESI has a 420a motor like the eclipse GS and RS. Talon tsi or tsi awd have the same motor (4g63) as the eclipse gst or gsx
