It's in the resistor block, which in the diagrams comes right after the fan control switch
The blower fan motor is worn out.
It is on the evaporator case and is held in with 2 screws.
Not grounded properly.
The 1998 Dodge Neon does not have a relay. It does have a blower motor resistor that could be bad.
If the blower works on some speeds and not on others, you may not need a motor. Instead, you may only need a new blower motor resistor.
99 TRNS PORT BLOWER RESISTOROn my 98 it is under the dash on the passenger side, you have to remove the glove box, and the blower motor it is behind the blower motor with 3 crew holding it in
blower motor resistor
Open the hood ...it should be on the left side of the firewall...right off of the blower motor box...
To change the blower motor resistor in a 1998 Toyota Avalon XLS, first disconnect the negative battery terminal. Next, locate the blower motor resistor, which is typically found under the dashboard on the passenger side, near the blower motor. Remove any screws or clips securing it, disconnect the wiring harness, and then replace it with the new resistor. Reassemble everything and reconnect the battery terminal to complete the installation.
There is none - usually it is the module in the top of the heater / blower box (resistor module) that is the problem.
Hummm!! it Seems it is a known problem with Mercedes from 94 to 98. Is two problemsThe blower motor resistor can be defective andthe blower motor itself.
On a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado, the blower motor resistor is typically located under the dashboard on the passenger side. It is mounted on the HVAC housing, near the blower motor itself. To access it, you may need to remove the lower dash panel and possibly the glove compartment for better visibility and access.
