Under the passerger side dash there is a black plastic shroud that covers the electronic parts. You will need a 7/32 socket (i think) to remove the screws that hold it in place. After you have removed the screws pull down on the shroud and look on the right hand side as you are facing the front of the truck. You will see a flat plug (white) connected to a long skinny black port. That is your resister. Two screws on either side should remove it. Be careful as you remove it becase a resistor board sticks about 1.5 in into the cavity behind. Hope this helps.
