If will be mounted right near the blower motor itself.... attached to the blower motor via a cable.... held in place in it's mounting by 2 screws. You need to be a contortionist to get to it. Good luck.

You will need to replace the blower motor control unit located inside the blower motor housing, this part is not the same as the part on standard explorers, it is not the same blower motor resistor.

Looking at the picture in my Haynes repair manual it looks like the blower motor resistor is in the engine compartment mounted just to the right of your blower motor when looking from the front of the Explorer - Helpfull
The front blower motor is located under the glove box behind the lower trim panel. The rear blower motor is located on the left side in the rear behind a panel

The Heater Blower Relay on a 1993 Ford Explorer is located in the Power Distribution Box. The PDB is in the engine compartment, mounted on a bracket attached to the right fender apron. The Heater Blower Relay is one of six relays, the first relay on the upper left.
