possibly the up solonoid located in the trunk attached to the convertable top motor.
found it...thanks
What problem are you actually having? Does the motor work and your top does not move?
replace switch, pump motor, and cylinder's.
connect a 12v power supply to top motor to see if motor works sounds like motor is bad
The motors for the convertable top are in the trunk in the very back behind spare tire there is a up motor and a down motor.I believe the driver side motor is the up motor. There is one motor/pump assembly and it is located directly behind the rear passenger seat. It can be accessed by removing the rear seat or by going through the trunk.
The convertable top is operated by an electric motor operatedhydraulic pump. The assembly is located under the rear seat. This assembly is not serviceable. To get to it you have to bottom rear seat back about 1 inch and lift up and pull forward.
1987-1995 Lebaron convertable top up/down switch is located on the console. On earlier models, It may be in the same location.
Bad connection in your switch, possible sticky motor.
Unclip the latches at the top of either side of the windshield and press the down button, located between the front seats.
In the compartment located in the luggage tray behind the rear seats.
