The master cylinder is located drivers side, under the hood, mounted on brake booster, on firewall.
If it is like the ( 1996 ) Ford Escort : The BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR is also the CLUTCH FLUID RESERVOIR
Between the brake fluid reservoir and the firewall
The brake fluid reservoir is mounted on the Master Cylinder. Drivers side near the firewall.
Nevermind I found it, just to the left of the brake drum reservoir. Thanks anyway.
which fuse triggers 1992 ford aerostar
There is no clutch fluid reservoir on a 1997 Probe. On this car, it is the same as the brake fluid reservoir.
The brake fluid in a 1992 Ford Escort gets put in the brake fluid reservoir. This is normally located on the master cylinder.
It is located in the engine compartment behind the Master Brake cylinder on the firewall.
On the firewall, on the left side of the engine compartment, attached to the brake booster.
You have to remove the battery and tray to get access to the reservoir.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but the power brake booster is between the brake fluid reservoir and the firewall on your 2001 Ford Explorer ( located in the engine compartment on the drivers side )
I was looking at the 1997 Ford Escort Owner Guide and it shows : " the brake fluid reservoir and the clutch master cylinder are part of the same unit " Both are refillable at the brake reservoir using DOT 3 brake fluid
