Inside the distributor.
The Camshaft sensor is located in the distributor.
no sorry they are cast iron.
The knock 1 sensor on a Vortec 4.8 is located on the top of the engine. You will have to remove the intake to gain access to replace it.
The Mass Air Pressure sensor is located at the top rear of the engine, close to the firewall. Remove the Vortec engine cover (I believe it's an 8mm), and from the driver's side, find the rear-most sensor connection (it has 3 wires), and follow it. The sensor looks like this:
Apparently, there is none. They started using them in 1996.
It's located in the distributor under the rotor.
The knock sensors yes there are two are located on either side of the motor (4.3LTR Vortec) below the heads in the center area of the engine block. There are a place for another sensor just above where the knock sensor goes but these are for other sensors. located on the left exhaust manifold pipe at bottom of engine
The one the ecm reads is located right next to the thermostat housing.
The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is an important component to your 1994 General Motors Blazer/Jimmy's EFI system. This pressure sensor is located provisioned into the intake manifold assembly.
in my 98, Chevy siverado, c1500 2wd, 5.7L vortec, I found it located to the left (passenger) side of the manifold, near the throttle body. It can be identified by the vaccum line coming out the left side of the sensor, leading to the Vortec air box.
It is located at the top side rear of the engine block and right next to the distributor.
