GM cars do not have inertia/reset switches.
Try in the trunk. Some cars had a fuel switch located in the trunk. THERE'S NO FUEL PUMP RESET ON GM CARS !!!!
On some cars there is a reset button in the fuse panel, check with your cars manual to see if they tell you how or where to look. There is no reset on a 300m. If the oil light is on, you are low on oil, have a bad sensor, or a engine malfunction.
There no such thing as a reset button on any cars . Just disconnect the negative cable on your battery for few minutes. If theres any code after you do that the problem will have to be fix prior to clear the code
In trucks it's in the kick panel. Cars in the trunk. Push the button.
Unfortunately a 1986 BMW 325 does not have a service light reset button. To reset the light a user can ground pin 7 in the diagnostic connector. Doing so automatically sends a signal to the cars ECU to reset all error codes and service lights.
There isn't a reset switch on a 1983 grand marquis as Ford didn't put fuel injection into cars until 1986.
some cars have a cut out switch which will stop the engine running after a collision.they are normally under the bonnet and can be reset by pushing the button down.however some cars will be immobilised by the on board computer and have to be reset by lap top depending on the manufacturer of the car
You would have to have service B performed by a authorized Mercedes Benz technician. There is a special laptop they hook up to the cars after these services are performed in order to get rid of that message on your dash. On the CLK 320 Cabrolet you have to perform a series of actions on your dash i.e. reset button etc. to reset the service reminder. There is no plug in for a Mercedes techniciam to reset the reminder.
on most cars, the inertia switch and reset is located under the passenger dashboard/firewall area. Look under and behind the glovebox.
Any auto repair shop. They will plug in a device to your cars computer and it"ll spit out a code that tells you why the light came on. Than he will re-set the light to go off. Proceed as follows to reset the service reminder indicator (SRI): Ignition to position I Press and hold in the reset button for the trip odometer Ignition to position II. Hold the reset button for the trip odometer pressed in until the original value has been reset The information lamp lights when the reset button must be released Release the reset button for the trip odometer within 4 seconds . The instrument gives an audible signal when resetting has succeeded If the trip odometer is already reset, the reset button must be held in for a minimum of 10 seconds and a maximum of 14 seconds .
I don't know what type of car you're talking about ---but -- I had the same problem on my 2001 Buick Century ---it says how to turn on the "low tire" lite in your manual ---- go to the fuse box (I assume the procedure is the sam e for most American cars ) they're should be a "reset " button --- on my car it said to hold the reset button in for 3 sec --( reset button is usually red )---
