There are many animal shelters and rescue places within the city of Los Angeles. Look up your Yellow Pages and find which SPCA, Animal Hospital, or pet adoption agency is closest to your part of the city.
In Los Angeles, there are animal shelters including the City of Los Angeles South LA Animal Shelter, Kitten Rescue, Ken-Mar Rescue, Sante D'Or and more.
