The 2005 Chevy Trailblazer has Coil-On-Plug ignition coils so there are 6 "coil packs". Each one is mounted on top of the spark plug.

The 2004 Trailblazer does not have plug wires. It has a coil pack per cylinder that connects direct to the spark plugs.
under the resonator air inlet box. on the valve cover youll see the coil packs. remove the single bolts. pull up the coil pack until the boot clears the valve cover. change plug. reinstall the coil pack and move on to the next. easy. can be done in 30 minutes.
how do you put spark wires in the right place on the coil pack on a 1995 Chevy cavalier2.2 frank
Remove the air box on the top of the motor that says Vortec 4200. Remove the bolts for the affected coil pack and lift it off. Unclip the connector and replace. For lots more info and help visit our Trailblazer enthusiasts forum at www,trailvoy.com
The firing order is irrelevant. The coil packs are numbered from One to Six starting from the front of the engine to the back. A misfire on #4 cylinder would be the fourth coil pack/spark plug from the front starting nearest the radiator for #1.4 is common, as water can leak from a bad hood seal onto the coil pack, especially if parked with the front sloped forward.

I normally think of a coil pack as a group of coils. The 98 cheyenne has only one.
you neede to have the pcm scanned it will tell you which cylinder is misfiring. most prob. cause is the coil pack on that cylinder.
