Drain the radiator
To drain the radiator on a 2003 Dodge Dakota, first ensure the engine is cool and then locate the radiator drain plug at the bottom of the radiator. Place a container underneath to catch the coolant, and open the drain plug by turning it counterclockwise. Allow the coolant to fully drain out, then close the plug securely.
