Where is the thermostat located in a Rover 200?

If refering to the 200 series Rovers such as the 211,214,216 etc then the thermostat is in a housing beneayh the fuel inlet manifold, at the back of the engine at the crankshaft pulley end. access is limited so is sometimes easier reaching from underneath the car. it has rubber O ring seals.

Where is the crankshaft position sensor on 2003 Nissan Altima?

Here's some pics of my 2003 Altima Crankshaft Sensor. Often mistaken by the Camshaft Sensor because both are identical sensors. They are each located in different locations. I've seen diagrams with the WRONG labeling. Again, this is so confusing for even a mechanic to understand because both sensors carry the same part number which is rare. http://x.nissanhelp.com/forums/members/digitaldxing-albums-2003-Nissan-altima-crankshaft-position-sensor-picture331-2003-Nissan-altima-crankshaft-position-sensor.HTML Here's the answer for everyone that has a 2003 Nissan altima 3.5 liter the vq35de engine not the qseries. In the vq35de, the crank position sensor is not located in the back. Iv looked all over for its location and took hours to get no where. It is simply located right below the air intake, on the right front side of the oil pan, located below starter. Here is the diagram.. http://www.justanswer.com/Nissan/3anvu-crankshaft-position-sensor-2003-altima-vq35-au.HTML so don't go to dealer have have them charge you 200 bucks to install it,even after they told you your car isn't on the recall list. It takes 3 mins to replace old one with new.

Where is the Crankshaft position sensor on a 2001 Monte Carlo SS?

If you want to take a look at where your crankshaft sensor is, take your wheel and turn it all the way to the right, and then look behind your passenger side wheel, theres a disc with a belt on it, and right behind the disc, is your positioning sensor, yes that's right, you have to remove the belt, and the disc, and then you need a tool to remove the sensor, its a pain to get to but if you do it yourself youll be saving about 200 bucks.
