Can someone anyone please tell me where is the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor on a kia sorento 2005 and I also need a diagram
A bad crankshaft position sensor will cause your Kia Sorrento to run rough. The bad crankshaft position sensor can also cause your Kia to not start.

Others have had problems with the crankshaft pulley bolt on their Kia Sorento damaging the crank sensor. This can happen if the bolt breaks. The timing belt can be damaged as well.
It takes a hour and a half or so to replace it.
unfortunately the sensor is behind the plastic cover on the front of the engine and just above the crank shaft
