Open the hood, and it's pretty much straight ahead. Look for a metal ring (about the size of a one-dollar coin), and pull it out. That should be your dip stick - you shouldn't have to wrench on it, it might be a little stiff, but remember that it's meant to come out.
Where is it?
My oil stick broke on my 2000 esteem wagon. I tried to glue the top back on with no luck. For a while I used pliers to check the oil but eventually I went to a Suzuki dealer and they happened to have a stick in stock someone had ordered and never picked up - I believe it was about $17.00 or so. You could also try ebay.
A 1991 Honda Civic DX 1.5 liter engine starter might stick because the starter is damaged. The flywheel might be missing teeth which could cause the starter to stick.
The engine oil dipstick is on the drivers side of the engine ( 4.6 + 5.4 liter )
On a Ford E-150 , 5.0 liter / 302 cubic inch V8 engine : The engine oil dipstick will be on the drivers side of the engine ( it's in a tube that extends towards the front of the vehicle )
On a 1999 Ford Ranger , 4.0 liter V6 engine : The engine oil dipstick is on the drivers side of the engine
On a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer with the 5.0 liter V8 engine : The engine oil dipstick is on the drivers side of the engine
The stick is located on the right hand side of the engine towards the back. It looks like the plug of most lawn movers. Some models however has an glass inspektion hole situated on any side of the engine and replace the dip stick
If it is a 2.4 liter engine with dohc it does not have a dip stick... it is a sealed transmission.
the 2007 suzuki does not have a dip stick you must take it to a professional to get transmission fluid checked.
The 4.6 L engine should hold 4.5 L of oil, filter included. Check the stick after.
