Unfortunately there isn't one.
There is no dipstick for the transmission. It has a check valve on the side of the pan.
The transmission dipstick on a 1994 Pontiac Sunfire is located on the left side of the engine. It connects to the transmission via a long tube which also allows for adding transmission fluid.
It doesn't have one but they can check the transmission fluid at any place that does oil changes
The transmission dipstick tube
Some early model Sunfires have a dipstick. In my '96, the dipstick is located near the firewall, down and inboard from the brake fluid reservoir.
The transmission is a sealed unit and has no dipstick. Look in your owner's manual.
The transmission fluid dipstick, on a 2006 Cadillac CTS, is located near the back of the engine compartment. The transmission fluid dipstick should have a yellow handle.
you dump rite down the dipstick tube
It's a sealed system so there is not dipstick. If it slips, take it in...if it's leaks take it in. I personally hate that ;-)
A manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick
If you know where the transmission dipstick is located you use a funnel and pour the transmission fluid into the place where the dipstick came from.
Transmission fluid is filled by pouring the fluid directly into the dipstick tube. Be careful to put fluid in the correct dipstick. The transmission dipstick is located on the passenger's side, closest to the firewall (the cab). Remove the dipstick, use a funnel and fill.
