It's near the top of the engine, close to the rear spark plug wires. It's round and either brass or a dark gray color. You can't miss it.
It might be a MAP sensor, EGR valve or something like that. Maybe a vacuum leak.
There is no EGR valve on the '92
The EGR is the acronym for exhaust gas recirculation valve. The 1993 Cutlass Ciera does not come equipped with an EGR valve.
As I recall, that engine does not have an EGR valve.

1990 -1993 injected Festivas do not have a EGR valve
The 1993 Ford escort did not come with an EGR valve. It is one of a few year models that do not have one.
As far as I can tell, there is no EGR valve on 1993 Ford Aerostar 3.0L engines. I have searched and found none and the vacuum hose routing decal in the engine compartment does not show an EGR valve.
93 Roadmaster.... that's a 5.7L engine, right? It should be attached to the intake with 2 bolts. Look for the thing that looks like a Chevy Smallblock EGR valve. Also, if you're replacing the valve because you have an EGR code make sure you don't have a clogged passage in the intake acting like a bad valve.
