According to newton's 2nd law, if acceleration = 0, then Net force = 0 If we call up to be positive direction Net force = -mg + Force air resistance = 0 So the air resistance force would be equal in magnitude to m*g and opposite in direction. m is mass of object, g is about 9.81 for objects near earths surface
