Not sure what a fuel shut off valve is on a 2000 Lesabre. There is a fuel pump relay, a fuel pressure regulator, a fuel pump, fuel injectors, a fuel filter, but no fuel shut off valve.
I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 HD Pick up. The Chevy Dealer Parts Manager and 4 of their mechanics tells me there is no fuel emergency shut off valve on this model. He gave me the wiring diagram for the fuel system and it shows no such valve. It might be good to have but it's not there. Ford has it though !! ?? An Old Time Chevy Owner
shut off valve filters in tank stopped up or the valve is bad.
The fuel shut off valve on a 2000 Chevy S10 pickup is located just outside the gas tank. It is designed to shut fuel off to the fuel pump in the event of an accident to prevent a fire and to kill the engine.
in my 2000 b3000 it is under the passenger glove box next to the fuel pressure release valve.
There is NOT one.
An emergency shut off is used in some vehicles to stop power to the fuel pump during an accident. The 2002 Dodge Durango does not have an emergency shut off.
The fuel pump for a 2000 gm. Yukon does not have an inertia shut off. If there is no fuel then the pump or pump relay could be bad.
2001 Kia sportage does not have one.
Not any that I am aware of on the small units. Some do have solenoids that shut off the fuel when you shut down the engine. The larger ones have a emergency shut down button. This shuts off anything hooked to the control system.
No make, no model, and no year = no answer.
there isn't one
