Hi,
Underneath the Z4 Roadster, there is a protecting cover.
The oil sump plug/bolt is underneath the small cover which is about 8in x 8in wide. which you will need to unscrew with a Phillips screwdriver.
The bolt is immediatley in front. 17mm
It's very simple and well worth the 30 minutes it takes to complete the oil change.

The best way to remove oil from an engine with too much in is to get underneath and undo the sump plug on the bottom of the engine to drain some off. DIfficult to do without getting a bit oily though :)
