On the laptop above the keyboard, there is a fairly big round button. You press the button and there you go!

There could be several reasons you are unable to type on your laptop. The keyboard may have been turned off. To enable the keyboard, selection the button that correlates with the function key.
Click the button 2 spaces away from the big enter button, it also has the swirly (@) on it.
If the Enter button on your keyboard isn't working, you can try using the on-screen keyboard available in your operating system's accessibility options. Alternatively, you can copy and paste text to simulate the input you would achieve by pressing Enter. If the issue persists, consider checking your keyboard for physical obstructions, testing with another keyboard, or updating your keyboard drivers.

To get quotation marks, you press the Shift button and then the quotations button, which is directly to the left of the Enter key.
The apostrophe key is usually located on the keyboard to the left of the Enter key and below the quotation mark key.
