Click the two clocks above the fireplace. You have to make them both show 12 o'clock at the same time (both skulls pop up at the same time). Putting the mouse cursor over a clock will make it speed up, moving it away will let it resume its regular speed. Get the clocks close to the same time, then speed up the slower one when it is almost 12 o'clock. The lantern will appear in the fireplace.
