If your talking about you indicator flasher relay I've got a suggestion. I just changed one on a 1999 Cavalier. It was located underneith the drivers side of the dash. It is a little square black relay that might be clipped on up underneith or it my not. It is right out in the open, but you might need a flashlight to get a good look at it. Like I said, this was on a 1999 Cavalier not a 1992 Cavalier. But if there anything alike........... So hopefully this works out for you. If not...... well....... I tried.

To change the flasher on a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier, first, locate the flasher relay, which is typically found under the dashboard near the steering column or in the fuse box. Remove the old flasher by pulling it straight out of its socket. Insert the new flasher into the socket, ensuring it's seated properly. Finally, test your turn signals to confirm the new flasher is working correctly.
