The turn signal and hazard flasher relays are under the dash to the right
of the steering wheel according to my Haynes repair manual
On my 1999 Ford Explorer, the turn signal and emergency flasher relay is to the left of the steering column behind the electronic monitor adapter. Factory flasher is yellow and clipped to a metal flange. My after market flasher is black and has one less posts but works perfectly. It does not have the clip on it so either leave it hanging or zip tie it to the flange.
The turn signal flasher on a 2006 Ford Explorer is under the dash on the driver's side. This vehicle has two flasher units, one for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. They are next to each other.
Generally speaking the flasher unit is on the fuse box.

The 1983 Ford flasher unit is located beneath the drivers side dashboard. The flasher unit simply plugs in and out.
replace flaher unit it should also be in the fuse box or close buy it is a little silver box about 1inchx1/2inch where is the flasher unit in the fuse box?

The 1999 Nissan Maxima turn signal flasher unit can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard. The turn signal flasher unit will be above the gas pedal.

The flasher for the 1997 xh falcon is located to the left of the steering column. When you remove the cover to access the fuse box on the right of the steering column the flasher will be visible on the left. ie opposite the in car fuses.
