It is screwed into the passenger side of the engine block just in front of the starter.

Chevy Tahoe remove front and rear speaker
It is bolted in the passenger side of the timing cover on the front of the engine / Behind the front bottom pulley / behind the harmonic balancer on the front of the engine.
Standing in the front of the engine: Bank 2 is the left head and 02 sensor 1 will be the first and closest sensor in the exhaust pipe were the pipe hooks to the engine.
If you mean the front end sensor, or also called the front impact sensor, it is locted under the truck on top of the radiator support bar.
I'm also having the same issue on my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. The local Chevy dealership stated the error code is a result of a failed front crash sensor. In my case it was Sensor #2. The cost of the sensor is $125 w/ a $100 installation fee.
Yes, it's advisable to replace the front impact sensor on a 2000 Tahoe after the airbag has deployed. The sensor may be damaged or malfunctioning due to the deployment, which can affect the vehicle's airbag system in the future. It's important to ensure that all components of the airbag system are functioning properly for safety. Always consult a professional mechanic for a thorough inspection and replacement if needed.
