Oxygen sensors are in the exhaust system. The front one is before the first catalytic converter.
Both o2 sensors are located on catalytic converter. Sensor closest to front of car is upstream sensor. Sensor closest to rr of car is downstream sensor.
There are two oxygen sensor for Mitsubishi Outlander. Front Oxygen Sensor and Rear Oxygen Sensor
If somebody knocks on the front door of the Subaru, the KNOCK sensor, sets off the KNOCK Alarm....LOL
P1137: Front O2(oxygen) aka A/F(air/fuel) Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem.
No. do you mean the front or rear o2? The front might be an A/F sensor. Big difference. But no, there isn't.
On a 1999 Subaru Legacy, the heater oxygen sensor is typically located in the exhaust system. Specifically, it is situated upstream of the catalytic converter, usually on the exhaust manifold or the front pipe. This sensor monitors the level of oxygen in the exhaust gases to help regulate the air-fuel mixture for optimal engine performance and emissions control. If you're having trouble locating it, consult the vehicle's service manual for detailed diagrams.
Changing an oxygen sensor is awkward, not necessarily difficult. The answer really depends on your skill level so without knowing that my answer is meaningless. Auto parts stores lend a socket set for changing oxygen sensors and they do help some. Good luck! --Ken

The front oxygen sensor is located on the exhaust manifold of the BMW 318ti. The rear oxygen sensor is located in the head pipe.
The 2001 Toyota Tundra front oxygen sensor torque specification is 20 pounds. The oxygen sensor bolts should be torqued in 10 pound intervals.
In a 1996 Subaru Legacy, the oxygen sensor is typically located in the exhaust system. There are usually two sensors: one is positioned before the catalytic converter (upstream) and the other after it (downstream). The upstream sensor is generally found on the exhaust manifold or the front section of the exhaust pipe, while the downstream sensor is located further along the exhaust system, near the catalytic converter. Always refer to a repair manual for precise locations and details specific to your vehicle.
Both oxygen sensors are located on the catalytic converters. Sensor 1 is in front of the front converter and sensor 2 is either at the rear of the front converter or the front of the rear converter. They are only a foot or so apart.
