To find the sensor you need to get a special tool, ...a long handled 5km headed hammer. Then you need to swing it at the frount of the car, and as you go check to see if you can find the sensor. This wont do much damage to the car, a blind man would be glad to see it.
On a 2-liter Mk III Mondeo TDCi, the lambda sensor, also known as the oxygen sensor, is typically located in the exhaust system. There are usually two sensors: one positioned before the catalytic converter (upstream) and another after it (downstream). To access the upstream sensor, you may need to raise the vehicle for better visibility and reach. Always consult the vehicle's repair manual for specific details and guidance.
Smash the driver's side window in with a hammer then try to hotwire it. Should activate the alarm nicely.
The diagnostic port on a Mk 2 Ford Mondeo is typically located under the dashboard, near the driver's side. You'll usually find it just above the pedals, towards the center console. It may be covered by a plastic panel, so you might need to remove that for access.

I am fairly sure that the Astra G (Mk 4) models withoutABS have the speed sensor in the gearbox, and the ABS models take the road speed from the left-hand front wheel hub. Unfortunately, the gearboxes fitted to ABS models have the speed sensor hole plugged, so this is something to consider if replacing the gearbox.

Stand in Front of the car. On the front bumper there are three air vents. Small one on left, same size on right hand side. The middle one is slightly larger. Look through the middle one. You will be able to see the sensor with its wires attached to it. You can't miss it. To get to the sensor you will have to remove the vent. Remove the vent starting at the corner on top. Be careful as the clips breaks easily. Good luck.
To change the bonnet lock on a Mondeo MK3, first, ensure the bonnet is open and secure. Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical issues, then remove any necessary components obstructing access to the lock, such as the grille or front panel. Unscrew the old lock mechanism from its mounting points, disconnect any cables, and then install the new lock in reverse order, ensuring everything is securely fastened. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the lock to ensure it functions properly.
