Have you changed the fuel filter lately?
Fuel filter and installation, $40. Fuel pump and installation, $450.
The fuel pressure for a 2001 Jaguar S-Type with a 3.0L V6 engine typically ranges between 30 to 40 psi (pounds per square inch) when the engine is running. It's essential to check this pressure with a fuel pressure gauge to ensure proper fuel delivery and engine performance. If the pressure is outside this range, it may indicate issues with the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific diagnostic procedures.
Change your fuel filter.

This could possibly be a fuel problem. Has the fuel filter been changed ? Fuel pressure checked ? Is there dirt in the fuel tank ?
DEPENDING ON WHAT TYPE OF FUEL YOU USE , IT CAN BE EITHER 40:1 , OR 50:1 .
Answernote: I already had the fuel filter replaced so please don't tell me thatCheck your throttle position sensor, along with with your mass air flow sensor, there have been situations when the egr valve can cause this issue
Could be a plugged catalytic converter or a plugged fuel filter.
