The filter is in the fuel tank as part of the fuel pump assembly. To access, you'll need to remove the rear seat bottom and the access panel underneath the seat. Then you'll be able to remove the fuel pump assembly from the top of the tank through the access hole.
According to the diagram in the parts catalog, the round plastic piece on your fuel pump assembly is the filter. Not sure what you have from the store.
I checked the information in the shop manual at www.hmaservice.com as a double-check, and it's a little confusing. The procedure pretty much simply says to unbolt the filter and take it off, but clearly shows a diagram the access hole to the fuel pump with no filter evident in the diagram. Look around through the access hole to be sure there's nothing present, but I believe what I have at the top is correct.
Its under the hood on the drivers side.
Per my local Hyundai Shop this model does not have a serviceable filter, therefore you only drain and fill this transsmission.
Lift the car, buy a socket set, and remove the oil filter..
