The fuel filter is mounted above (and covered by) a large, black plastic dust cover, under the vehicle on the left side, even with the drivers door and visible by looking under the car. The cover, which must be removed to service the filter, is secured by four 10mm nuts, one 10mm bolt and a couple of plastic push pins. No tools are required to remove the quick connects securing the filter to the fuel line. DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE BEFORE SERVICING. SOME FUEL WILL DRAIN FROM THE OLD FILTER WHEN IT IS REMOVED.
