On that engine, with a Quadrajet carburetor, the fuel filter is located in the front of the carb, where the fuel line connects. There was no remote fuel filter. It's not a bad idea to add one, though...just don't cut the steel line that goes from the mechanical fuel pump to the carb to install it.
Oil filter location should be on passenger side rear of block
12 degrees btdc.

Yes i Don't know how many Oldsmobile Cutlass 455 were made but it wasn't as many as the Oldsmobile 350 Rocket. So it was a big plus if you had the 455 engine because it wasn't as many around.

A cryogenic rocket engine
I have a 1971 with a rocket 350 and a 2 barrel carb, and I get about 12 city and 17 hwy, but it can vary alot depending on engine size and other factors.
84 and 85 cutlass's came with olds 307 small blocks. and others came with V-6's. now an olds 307 will slide right into a 72 cutlass (i have one also (: as long as the cutlass was a v-8 (olds 350 rocket and olds 455's were the v-8s that came in the 72's.) so yes the bolt pattern on the tranny and the engine mounts will all match up with the 307 if the 72.
A liquid-fuel rocket or a liquid rocket is a rocket with an engine that uses propellants in liquid form.
Rocket engines obtain their thrust in accordance with Isaac Newton's third law, making the rocket a reaction engine. A rocket engine is simply a jet engine.
