In the carb . So I was told by the auto parts guy.
The fuel filter on a 1993 G20 van should be located on the vans frame. It is an inline type and should be easy to change.
The fuel filter for a 1986 Chevy G20 should be mounted on the frame under the van. The filter is an inline type and should be easy to change.
Its a inline filter that is back along the frame by the fuel tank on the passengers side.
1989 g20 van is passenger side under wheel well bolted on chassis
it is located right in front of the fuel rail going to your fuel injectors.....follow the tubing from your fuel filter mounted on the drivers side firewall....this tubing leads right into the regulator.
In the fuel tank
separate the lines from the filter and fit the lines onto the new filter. just trace the fuel lines to find the filter
Mounted inside the uni-body frame rail above the passenger rear wheel.
I am working on a similar truck, a Chevy Astro van. The fuel filter for it is mouinted on the l/s frame rail in front of the leaf spring mount. Hope this helps
Under hood, driver side, rear engine area, passenger side of master cylinder, mounted on firewall
Should be 5 with filter change
Well, technically, I don't need to know where the fuel filter is since I don't have a Chev Van... but, if it's like my 94 pickup I'd assume it to be on the drivers side about halfway between the fuel tank and the engine, tucked into the frame. Be careful when you loosen the fittings, fuel is under pressure and will spray you and that stuff really burns when it gets in your eyes. its not there i have a 94 Chevy g20 and the fuel filter is locater on passinger side right behind the gastank
