The fuel filter is located in the engine compartment near the fuel injection rail on the left side standing in front of the transverse mounted engine.It is about 1/2 the size of a 12oz. soda can. You will find hose clamps at both ends of the fuel filter. Wear safety goggles prior to attempting to remove the fuel filter engine should be cool and the car should not have been previously driven due to pressure from fuel tank will cause fuel spray causing injury. Be sure to remove the -negative black battery terminal wire to prevent fire hazard should fuel spray occur when attempting removal to replace.
