Hey dude, just been to the local Ford delership with a similar question. My '97 F250 XL diesel has only one fuel filter. that's the one on top of the block.
On the 2004-2007 f series super dutys there are two, one is located along the fuel rail/water separator under the driver side door, the other is located on the top of the block in the front driverside area of the engine compartment.
Hi, This should be located on the engine plate which is normally on the engine block or on RH side of engine compartment. Kev
The firewall is between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment.
It is located in the center of the engine compartment. It should have a 36mm socket head on it with a wider body to the whole cap. It is not a traditional oil filter. It is a cartridge with an O-ring located from top of engine.
It could either have a gasoline engine or a diesel engine
no
It is the black plastic box located at the back of the engine compartment on the passenger side and has a corrugated plastic 4" hose that curves the engine. The air filter is inside the box.
on the drivers side of the radiator, its a cylinder tube that has a flap that you pull open to remove and replace the filter. for some reason its not in the expected place of the engine compartment. To access it either ramps or secure jack.
in the engine compartment
In a 1999 Lincoln Continental : The car battery is located in the engine compartment , on the drivers side of the engine compartment
Either under the dashboard on the driver's side or in the engine compartment.
That's the metal wall that divides the engine compartment from the passenger compartment ( that you see best from the engine compartment )
Either it will not run at all, or run very poorly. Either is likely to do severe damage to the engine.
