I highly recommend that you do not try to replace the filter yourself. But, it is located up in the left wheel well slightly behind the wheel well liner. you need to remove the left rear tire to be able to see it. it has different style hoses on it then you might be used to, they are plastic with a quick disconnect fitting. requires a special tool to remove them, and even then it really sucks!! Just letting you know before you take the plunge of tring to replace it.

Where the cabin filter location for Mercedes Benz ML350?
I have a 2003 ML 500, and have changed the cabin filter twice. Mine is located on the underside of the dash panel on the passenger side. There are a couple of screws that must be removed to access the cabin filter. It's a body bender job, but only takes about 15 minutes.
