If it is still a factory stock car, it will be in the carb. It is installed in the housing where the fuel line mounts to the carb. You'll need to remove the fuel line then remove the housing. There will be a small filter and spring inside the housing. Make sure you take note which way the fuel filter is installed in the housing. It does need to go in a certain way. One end of the filter will have a steel cap while the other end will have a check valve and rubber seal.
