Against the firewall on the driver's side.
above the starter
it is passenger side below the intake mounted in fuel line by the frame
it could be under the bed on the passenger side on the frame!
I own a 92' Toyota pickup and i recently changed the fuel filter. It sat down between the block and the intake manifold on the back near the firewall. Check there.
The fuel filter is bolted to the engine block under the passenger side exhaust manifold. The engine must be cool to change the fuel filter. Some are mounted to the frame just over the passenger side rear tire. it slides into a C-shaped clamp with 2 fuel lines attached to the top of the filter: one inlet and one outlet Didn't Toyota discontinue the 22R in 1991?
Right under the intake on the passenger side of the engine, near the firewall but still on the motor.
If its manuel fuel filter it should be right where you open the hood you should be abke to see it and if its electric it should be by the bed underneath I forgot what side but by the chassis and the bed of the truck.
all depends well i change mine during a annual tune up with the spark plugs air filter hope it helps
try replacing the fuel filter. often debris will clog the output to the motor after driving a few miles as the fuel pump is pumping gas through the filter
