The fuel filter is in the back up in under on the back of the gas tank. On any car or engine, you can always start at the fuel injector or carbourator and follow the line leading to it backwards till you find any part of the fuel system your looking for, including modified ones. This should only take a few minutes and has the advantage of exposing any other things (like pressure regulators, etc) also in the system that may have caused a problem. Uh...this also works from the gas tank and following it forward...or anywhere along the system you want to start! True, if it's in the fuel tank, as some are, you'll end up, by elimination, isolating it to having to be there
The Montero was made by Mitsubishi
Fits a Chev or GMC Pick-up (63-90 Year Model)
Need to replace the ignition module in the distributor, If you are sure the fuel pump is working.
In front of the left rear tire.

The fuel filter is located on the fire wall just left of center. You can tell it is because it has the fuel line going into the top then one coming out of the bottom.
as to fuel, probably a pump or filter as to fire, could be the coil or distributer cap
I was informed that the fuel filter shoulf be changed between 90 000km - 100 000km. The fuel filter is situated in the petrol tank and will only need to be changed every 80 000-100 000 km and not with every service...
check fuel filter and pressure
Depends on the year. Most mid/late 90's Ram Trucks have a non servicable fuel filter. It is part of the fuel pump which is inside the gastank.
According to automotive supply warehouses, the 2000 Dodge Neon does not have a separate fuel filter. The fuel pressure sensor or fuel filter is built right into the fuel pump assembly. If there is a problem with the vehicle not getting fuel, the fuel pump will have to be replaced. This part ranges between $90 and $120 depending on engine size.
the fuel filter on the 92 topaz is located on the right inside fender, on the 90 it may be in the same place, if not you can follow the fuel line from the gas tank to the front of the vehicle and it should be visible.
The 1987 Oldsmobile Toronado came standard equipment with the 3.8L (231 ci) 90 degree V6 engine, The fuel filter on this model should be located forward of the fuel tank. The OEM General Motors replacement inline filter is AC Delco #GF652.
the fuel filter is located directly above the fuel tank. tank must be dropped in order to reach the quick connect fitting. this is a different person..... On my 90 Voyager my in line fuel filter is under the van, crawl up under the passenger side door, you should then see it in that area. ~Christina~
Hard to start is the first sign. Stalling will come later followed by complete failure. Always replace the fuel filter before moving to the fuel pump. The filter may just be partially clogged.
if you have owned the car for a long time chances are the filter will need changing. the fuel pump should buzz when the ignition is turned on so if it does its a good sign it is ok. but there are companys out there that can check the fuel pressure to see if its ok. Adam www.aeautomotive.co.UK

You do not change the fuel filter on a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 if it runs on gasoline. I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 with 188 thousand miles on it and have never replaced the filter. I also have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with 90 thousand miles on it both were bought brand new. I was told that the filter is in the fuel tank attached to the fuel pump and unless your having problem with the fuel pump you don't worry about it. I haven't and I haven't had any problems.
18 ft lbs + 90 degree + 90 degree
45 ft lbs
There is no fixing it. It must be replaced.
I had the same exact problem and i had 5 out of my 6 fuel injectors going bad so i would have them checked out if you havent already
Your 90 Ford Tempo may die when you put it in drive or reverse because the fuel filter is clogged. The transmission could also be malfunctioning.
U need to also but a fuel pump relay switch located behind the sterring wheel and its also best to change your fuel filter as well
On the 90-96 series it's under the hood on the driver's side in front of the vacuum boost over the wheel well.
