it's the big black cylinder on the front left with 5 tubes comming out of the top.
carefully press the coloured tabs on the sides and pull off.
lift the cylinder to remove from body.
replace with new one at every service
refit tubes as per colour coding
switch no ignition but DO NOT START THE ENGINE JUST YET
watch the tubes and wait until there are no bubbles in the tubes going to the engine.
this is bleeding the injectors - if you don't the injectors won't be lubricated and may fail.
when clear of bubbles it is safe to start the engine
check for leakes
dispose te old cartridge sensibly through your local waste disposal site - not our waste bin.
This model does not have a fuel filter.
Petrol engine filter is located under the floor near to the tank.
It is incorporated into the fuel pump on that year onwards so no need to replace.
Stop looking, it doesn't have one!!

Where is the fuel filter located on a Renault clio 2004 1500dci
How do you remove fuel filter from your renault clio w reg?
If its the same as my 2.0 petrol its just in front of the petrol tank, (near the drivers side rear wheel).
Could be a bad fuel pump, clogged fuel filter or something in the electrical system is getting overheated like a coil or crankshaft sensor.
