The Injector regulator or IPR is located behind the turbo and or intake. It is installed in the high pressure oil pump cover and you will need a special socket to remove easly. You can do the job by removing the ficm module and brackets. move some electrical wiring around and then you can get to it easier if you have the socket. If not you will need to remove the turbo, and pedisual to get a wrench on the nut. It has a 2-pin connector and is the only sensor in the back of the engine unless you have an 2003-early 2004 then you have the icp and ipr sensors. The icp has a 3-pin connector. good luck

The fuel injector pressure regulator is located in the injector fuel pump. Most pressure regulators cannot be separated from the fuel injector pump.
It can be either the IPR (Injector Pressure regulator) or STC Bracket.
