tHE FUEL PUMP IS LOCATED IN FRON T LOWER HALF OF ENGINE PASSENDER SIDE IF IT HAS A CARBURATOR. iF IT IS FUEL INJECTED FUEL PUMP IS LOCATED IN THE FUEL TANK.
no such thing
It could also be in the engine compartment behind the power steering pump.
in the fuel tank
If it's carburated then 4 - 6.5psi fuel injected 9 -13psi when you turn key on with engine off
There is a fuse and a relay.
this is incorrect. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. It is a lot of work to replace. I have done it twice on my 97 blazer. Its expensive too around 300 bucks. The fuel pump on a 1997 Chevey blazer is right beside the engine
Inadequate fuel pressure. If that 2000 S10 Blazer has a 4.3 engine, it needs 61 to 66 psi (engine off with fuel pump running) to run properly.
If it is a fuel injected engine it has an electric fuel pump.
With a signal from the ecm it powers up the fuel pump.
The fuel cutoff switch, on your 1998 Chevrolet Blazer, can be found on top of the fuel injector pump. The fuel injector pump is on the back side of the engine near the top.
Assuming this is the 4.3 L engine, 60 to 66 psi with fuel pump running, engine off.
No, your engine is not equipped to drive a mechanical fuel pump. You must use an electric fuel pump. The fuel pump is mounted on top and inside the fuel tank.
