In Gas Tank
where is the fuel filter on 2006 kia sportage
It has a fuel filter.
In the tank, part of fuel module/pump acessable under passenger seat.
It has a permanent fuel filter mounted inside the fuel tank.
It is in the fuel tank. The fuel pump has to be removed, the filter is part of the assembly. There is also an o-ring that has to come off the old one and go on new one. Kia requires replacement every 30,000 miles.
The fuel filter is in the gas tank and normally does not need to be replaced
The filter may be integrated into to fuel pump or it will be located between the fuel tank and the engine. Crawl under the vehicle and follow the fuel lines from the fuel tank to the engine and if you do not find the filter it is located in the tank and is a permanent filter.
I believe it's inside the fuel tank
The fuel filter is an integral part of the fuel pump assy (located in the fuel tank) and cannot be replace separately
THE FUEL FILTER IS IN THE FUEL TANK, THERE IS A ACCESS PANEL UNDER THE REAR SEAT. So I would have to remove the rear seat from the inside of my 2004 kia sorento?
This is fuel injected application Kia vehicle. The EFI in-line fuel filter will be located undercar aft of the fuel tank on the engine intake fuel lines.
