On a 92-96 Ford F series it is located to the right of the headlight switch, too the left of the instrument cluster.
Is there a rocker switch just to the right of the headlight switch ?
The fuel tank selector switch can be found on the left side of the dash of a 1984 F-150. This is immediately next to the headlight switch.
What is the question? Questions typically start with Who, What, Where When, Why or How... This is a comment... Thanks!
Sends power to the selector causing the door inside the unit to open and close swapping tanks.
It is bolted with 2 10mm bolts to the chasis underneathe the drivers side. The only tank selector is in the switch on the dash. It transfer power to each tank to activate the electric fuel pumps for each tank
Attached to the frame on the driver side just about under where the driver would sit.
You probably have a bad front tank fuel pump or you could have something wrong in the switch valve or selector switch, or even a problem in the wiring to the front fuel pump, but most likely a bad fuel pump.
only way to drain tank on f250 is to a, syphon fuel and remove tank b, disconect fuel supply line at tank
when you have two tanks on your vehicle the fuel tank selector valve chooses what tank will send fuel to the engine. both tanks run into the valve
I'm not sure what your question is,but Ford has a recall out on some of the duel fuel tank components on those trucks.Call a dealer to find out what they are.Or maybe someone else here knows the details.
( No ) there should be a selector switch ( or valve ) to use to select which tank you want to use
It is inside of the fuel tank.
