It's NOT inside the car interior. It's under the hood. Pop the hood and look on the driver's side up near the firewall for a black plastic
cover that goes over the fusebox and the brake master cylinder. It's attached at the rear with two small black plastic knobs you turn
a half turn to release and then slide the thing out of the little tab on the side of it and remove it. There you will see the fuse box with
two shiny metal clips that just pop up to open the fuse box. Now, look in there towards the FRONT of the car and you will see ten fuses
in a row. The cigarette lighter fuse is the FIFTH ONE GOING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE (right side) of the car. The official number of
that fuse is 47, but it won't say that on top of the fuse. It will probably be blue and have a white 15 on top of it for 15 amps. That's it.
try calling the manufacturer
The second storage unit below the stereo should open to be an ashtray and durrie lighter
there is no ignition wire for the stereo, so what you need to do (what i did) is take the ignition wire from the cigarette lighter, as it only works when the ignition is on. i extended my stereo live ignition cable (u can use any wire) and fed it through to the cigarette lighter cable, made a little cut in the plastic casing of the wire, attached my wire to it, covered it with electrical tape, and voila, the stereo now works as normal!! hope this helps, if its not clear, let me know. rikxx
You might be pulling too much power through the cigarette lighter. Also the cigarette lighter may grounding out for some reason or another. If the car has an aftermarket stereo, whoever installed it may have miswired it.
There are 2 bolts that are located right below the stereo in the dash. You can remove these bolts then you can pull out just that center section of the dash to get at the cigarette lighter and accessory plugs. Or at least that is how it is on my 2000 Ranger.
On the 2003 Toyota Corolla - interior fuse box located under the dashboard (driverside behind the auxiliary storage box. 15 amp mini-fuse for cigarette lighter. Follow the diagram on the fuse cover.
If the stereo was ripped out when it was stolen there is a good chance the cigar lighter wiring was damaged at the same time You need to check the wiring for breaks/fraying/shorting It has possibly gone dead short and blown the fuse
It should be the same one that runs the interior light and the stereo if that helps?
whats is the code car stereo on a 2001 Mercedes Benz 320
1999 mercedes benz c230 kompressor [stereo has no sound how cen i fix the sound
Blown fuse.. Fuse is located below left knee, (while sitting in the pickup), under dash. Remove cover. Fuse diagram is located behind cover. Fuse labled, "Cig Lighter", (May Vary). Fuse puller is provided on right side of fuse housing box. Check fuse, if faulty, replace.
The location of the stereo on a Mercedes A class will determine how it is removed. For example, if the stereo is in the back of the car the process to have it removed can be more difficult than if it?æin the front. You will need to have tools to unscrew the stereo.
You May Have Blown A Fuse. If You Look In Your Fuse Box, It Is Located On Most Vehicles Under The Dash, Between Steering Column & Kick Pad { Door } HOPE THIS HELPS OUT
