please I have a 1998 Saturn coupe SC 2 both power door locks out the same time 3 weeks ago. Is the fuse box for door locks under the hood or in the auto.
next question could it be the switch on the door behind the lock itself, but why both out the same time?
thank you very much.
Why not place an electric fuse box on an exterior brick wall
try the fuse box look for blown fuse
Because the servo is electric, check the fuse panel for a blown fuse - there's a 25 amp fuse in your panel somewhere. The fuse is blown for a reason, ranging from an old fuse which is just "tired", to a "short" in the system, to a worn out servo. You might be lucky and stop at the fuse.
A fuse is made with the material which offers high resistivity. When a large amount of electric current passes through the fuse, heat above the melting point of fuse is produced. Hence, the fuse melts.
A switch, circuit breaker, fuse, or switching transistor can do that.
Fuse is located in the inside fuse panel. Remove it with the fuse puller
should be psgr side kick panel on the left pull off the plastic cover the relays and the fuse will be there not sure witch one inside of plastic cover will show you what is what
pull the fuse
What fuse in the fuse box is for the automatic door locks in an Infinity J30?
Saturn cars in my opinion are JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ============ Fuse and relay are located by the front passenger left foot (small access door) - there is one fuse and two relays (one for opening and one for closing the door locks..).dh
Remove the relay or fuse for the door locks.
Remove the fuse under or near the dah board or under the hood! It could be in an enclosed fuse box!
Remove the relay or fuse for the door locks
The Kia electric door mirror fuse can be found in the fuse box. The electric door mirror fuse will be at the bottom of the first column.
One of the switches is bad most likely. Replace.
Door locks are protected by circuit breakers. A surge of power to a fuse would cause it to blow. They are located in the fuse panel.
First thing would be to check the fuse for the circuit. If it is ALL the doors that don't work it is likely the fuse or in the wiring somewhere. If only one of the door locks doesn't work, it could be the electric solenoid (located inside the door) that controls that particular lock.
