The Great Limpopo Tranfrontier Park is located in Mozambique. It is North-East of the capital of Maputo. The town of Massingir is one of the only small towns located on the southern side of the park. I visited the park as part of my thesis research trip and I was amazed at the difference from what I had read prior to going what it is actually like there.

Nearly 2 million hectares of land that stretch for 352 kilometres (20 000 square kilometres) from north to south along the Mozambique border, is given over to an almost indescribable wildlife experience. Certainly it ranks with the best in Africa and is a flagship of the country's national parks - rated as the ultimate safari experience.
