It depends if your are talking about a yearly average or just summertime temperatures. In summer Kilkenny is Ireland's warmest place with day time temperatures sometimes reaching up to the mid 20s & very occasionally even higher. Over a 12 month period west Cork is the warmest, as it has very mild winters.
