possibly a fuse in the fuse box on the lower firewall under the dash on the lower left, it could be the flasher itself available at autozone, a bad relay, i doubt all 4 bulbs but possibly a connection is bad and shorted the system.
Check the wiring connectors in the steering column and also look for wires with chaffed insulation.
Always disconnect the battery before messing with the steering column as stray voltage can set off the air bag.
There are a couples of reasons why a 1993 Jeep Cherokee's horn may not work. One reason is the horn relay fuse may need to be replaced.
try looking under the passenger side front end from the ground, there may be a plastic shield covering it (where u would wire up fog lights)
Front right corner under bumper shroud. Should be a pair 1 hi and 1 low sounders
If the fuses are good on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee and the horn still will not work, check the horn relay switch on the passenger side fender wall inside the engine compartment. Also check to make sure that the horn is hooked up properly.
There are several things that can cause your 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee driver information Center not to work. The most common cause is a blown fuse.
No.
The only way i found to disarm the alarm was to use the back hatch lock. lock it and unlock it a few times with the key. if this doesnt work try the door locks
they are problemly not plaged in, or their broken.
1. Why don't my gas gauge and speedometer work on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee? 2. With no other info at all, how would anyone know?

Checked the fuses, if none are blown then the switch in the steering wheel probably went bad and needs to be replaced.
They never made a 2002 jeep Cherokee (XJ) the production of it ended with the 2001 model. Are you talking about the grand Cherokee?
No.
I JUST had and fixed the same problem on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee. The fuse is blown, in the fuse box on the passenger side. I believe it is the 15 amp fuse #20 or #21. good luck! My guess would be the horn or horn relay or connections between the them is at fault. The click you hear would be the horn relay trying to work, that tells me the fuse and horn button is in working order. Unplug the wire at the horn and attach a test light to the wire. Operate the horn button and see if the light lights or not. If the light lights up the horn is at fault. If the light doesn't light up and you still hear the click I would replace the horn relay.
fix it.
