Chevy did not use an inertia switch. It don't have one.
Yes.
I just replaced the front heater motor in my 99 Suburban, it worked great, now the heater/ac absolutely does nothing. Could the switch be bad, the motor, I am stumped and need help. Thanks Jim.
The 4wd message in a Chevy Suburban is most commonly caused by the encoder motor or the selector switch failing. The transmission computer codes should be run to see if an indicated.
The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor on a 2000 Chevy Suburban is located on the very top of the motor. It is all the way to the back of the motor. There is nothing behind it.
Check the switch first to see if it's getting juice (bypass) If it is, see if motor is binding. You will have to pull panel on said door.
It is in the motor.
Wright above the passengers feet under dash.
About 3 hrs. To take it out.
The Oil filter in under the motor of the truck..
It should hold 6 qts.
Yes. Check your local smog laws, though.
There is a resistor/ circuit board near the heater motor that need to be replaced. You can get one from almost any auto parts store.
