The 2002 Jeep Liberty came equipped in four engine options. For the 3.7L V6 the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor is located in the intake air assembly. It will be forward of the throttle body, which is the assembly that regulates air intake via its butterfly valve. The OE replacement IAT for this application is Standard Motor Products #AX69.
The 2002 Ford Escort zx2 does have an air intake air temperature sensor. The sensor is at the top of the engine on the drivers side.
The intake air temperature sensor is under the intake manifold on the 2002 Land Rover Freelander. It is on the top rear section of the engine.
The temperature gauge sensor on the 2002 F150 is located on the driver's side of the vehicle and under the intake. This is almost impossible to remove without removing the intake itself.
For a Liberty 3.7L engine, the Intake Manifold Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is installed into the left side of intake manifold plenum. Prior to removing this, ensure to clean around the unit so dirt doesn't fall into the opening. Removal is about 1/4 counterclockwise turn.
It is integral with the Maf sensor on the air box
It is on the intake manifold near the thermostat housing.
the intake air temp sensor, goes in hose from air cleaner to throttle body!! disconnect electrical connector at sensor, then pull sensor from hose.
It is located on the intake manifold near the thermostat housing.
The rear of the generator, right on the manifold
It is on the intake manifold near the thermostat housing.
It is located on the intake manifold near the thermostat housing.
The Intake Air Temperature sensor send the PCM data on the air charge entering the engine. It will be found forward of the throttle body assembly and screwed into the air hose feeding it.
